It was founded in Italy in 2001 with the aim of pooling together the expertise of various companies working in and around Ravenna, its port, and on offshore rigs working on the Adriatic coast. Over the years CFO’s skilled operators have honed their knowledge, offering expert training to all those working in offshore and related activities: marine, commercial diving, shipping and port.

C.F.O.’s site-specific training facilities cover 1200 m2 including a 15m x 8m, 5m. deep swimming pool complete with changing rooms, four lecture rooms, two of which with space for up to 25 students, a common room with wi-fi for rest and relaxation, a canteen and a fully equipped sick bay as well as its general offices. Outside the C.F.O. buildings there is also a Fire Fighting and Training Area with a smoke room, an outdoor pool with a TEMPSC lifeboat and Hyperbaric training simulator approved for depths of up to 100m.
